Do you want to see real change in California? So do I. I’m excited to share with you the news about my decision to run for the State Senate in District 38 representing both Northern and Eastern San Diego County (El Cajon, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, Santee, San Diego, Poway, Escondido, San Marcos, Fallbrook and nearby communities).

I have a great opportunity to win the State Senate seat with my experience as a two-term elected member of the Palomar Health Board of Directors, largest healthcare district in California and my 30 years of experience as a firefighter and paramedic currently serving as a Fire Captain.

There’s a great deal of enthusiasm throughout the region about my candidacy to win this important State Senate seat.

I believe that my personal story, professional and elected experience, along with your strong support of my campaign, will propel me to victory to represent everyday people across California and our interests at the State Capitol in Sacramento.

I support:  1) conservative, thoughtful management of California taxpayer dollars; 2) integrated planning with all partner agencies for statewide emergencies ; 3) enhanced coordination between local municipalities and state resources, especially with smaller communities; 4) Universal single-payer healthcare for all; 5) greater opportunities for local public safety programs and 6) Foster trades education in California community colleges for good paying jobs.
